    For those who may have missed the advertisments, the RSPCA Million Paws Walk is being held Sunday 19th May.

    This is being held at 28 locations across Qld, including Southport on the Gold Coast, North Lakes, Chermside, and Ipswich; see the website for other locations.

    The Gold Coast walk has an 8.30am registration, walk begins at 10.30am.

    Live on stage entertainment
    Special appearances by Biosecurity dogs
    “Chill Out Zone” an all new area for your dog to relax, rehydrate and chill out
    Large off-leash dog socialisation area, fully gated
    Dog agility demonstrations and equipment for your dog to try
    Meet & greet with your local RSPCA Inspector
    Visit the RSPCA Education marquee and meet some special furry guests
    Dog hydrobath stations
    A huge variety of merchandise from RSPCA World For Pets
    RSPCA ‘Doggy Show Bags’ - only $20
    Purchase your ‘Entertainment Book’ for 2013/2014 with all proceeds going to the RSPCA
    Food lane with a variety of breakfast and lunch choice. Vegetarian options readily available
    There will be an ATM on site - all processing fees will be donated to RSPCA.
    Competitions - register on the day:
    • best dressed pooch
    • best 6 legs
    • best trick

    Per-registration is now finished, but you can still pay on the day.
    Entry Fees;
    Adult $15, Child $10, Family 2A +2C $35, Pensioner/Student $10
    This is for a great cause, and should be a great day out for dog lovers; I hope they raise heaps of money for all the great work they do :notworthy:

    Thanks for letting me know about this .. I think it is a bit too late for me to collect any sponsorship but I can't see why me .. my OH and our little Princess can't take part ... $30 is better than nothing for them, plus I will probably drop off some more food at the shelter ... good post x x LS

    in her new high vis jacket which she hates and sunning herself this morning .... The one were her head looks big has been made into a mouse mat
